This shrimp is not only caught and landed in the Netherlands, but also in other countries along the North sea, such as Denmark, Germany, Belgium and United Kingdom. The capture of this shrimp is season-tied. In the high season the North sea shrimp are landed daily, freshly cooked. Yes cooked. The brown shrimp is cooked directly after the catch on board.
