IT Systems Engineer Klaas Puul

Are you technically strong and do you enjoy helping others with IT issues? Do you enjoy coaching junior colleagues and actively contribute to improving systems and processes? Then we are looking for you!

At Klaas Puul, we are looking for a motivated and experienced IT Systems / Support Engineer to strengthen our IT team. You will be a key player in our IT department, providing crucial support to users at multiple locations, including Volendam, Edam, and internationally (EEA and Morocco).

What are you going to do?
As an IT Systems / Support Engineer, you will be working on:

  • 2nd and 3rd line IT support: resolving complex hardware, software, and network issues
  • Factory Equipment Support: On-site and remote IT support for factory equipment in Volendam, Edam, and Morocco
  • Mentorship & Training: guiding and coaching a junior IT Engineer, including professional development
  • System & Process Improvement: identify, analyse, and implement improvements to existing IT systems and processes to increase efficiency, user experience, and the overall effectiveness of IT
  • Collaboration: working with the UK IT team to resolve issues, align projects and ensure consistency
  • First Line Support Coverage: providing first-line support when necessary to ensure timely resolution of user requests
  • Travel: journeys to remote sites within the EEA and Morocco for project implementation, IT support, and infrastructure maintenance (occasional)

What are you bringing?

As an IT Systems / Support Engineer, you have a proactive and solution-oriented attitude. In addition, we expect:

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in an IT support/systems engineer role
  • Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory & Azure AD
  • Knowledge of virtualisation (Hyper-V / VMware)
  • Experience with Office 365 (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams) and strong in Windows 10/11 troubleshooting
  • Experience in mentoring and coaching colleagues
  • Fluent Dutch and sufficient English to liaise well with the UK.
  • Beginners tot gevorderde kennis van netwerken en beveiliging
