For the Frozen Foods department in Edam, we are looking for an enthusiastic
Logistics Worker / Reach Truck Driver (40 hours per week)
What are you going to do?
As a Reach Truck Driver, you play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth flow of our goods within our cold store. You are responsible for the efficient loading and unloading of lorries and ensuring that both incoming and outgoing goods flows are handled seamlessly. Furthermore, you will be involved in various logistical, production-related and practical tasks, including cleaning duties, meaning no two days are the same. In this versatile role, you directly contribute to the success of our logistics process!
Your duties will primarily consist of:
- Carry out picking orders using a reach truck via the Warehouse Management System;
- Picking cherries and loading lorries;
- Unloading and receiving incoming lorries;
- Registering quantity control and quality aspects such as appearance and temperature.;
- Store goods in the designated locations using the FIFO principle.;
- Tidying and cleaning of storage locations;
- Reporting shortages.

- You have MBO working and thinking level.;
- You have 0-2 years of relevant work experience, preferably gained in a manufacturing or logistics organisation;

- Speaking Dutch is a requirement.;
- A reach truck certificate is an advantage.

- A salary between £2900-£3500 gross per month (full-time, dependent on experience);

- For distances over 10 kilometres, you will receive travel expenses of €0.23 per kilometre for commuting;
