For our Operations department in Volendam and/or Edam we are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated person;
Operator (full-time)
You work in permanent employment of your choice:
- Morning/afternoon shift: 06:00 – 14:30
- Afternoon service: 14:30 – 23:00

What are you going to do?
As an Operator, you work alongside your colleagues to ensure that the production process runs smoothly, safely, and efficiently. You play an important role in the processing and packaging of high-quality shrimp products.
Your duties will include:
- Setting up, converting, and operating packaging machines;
- Performing quality and process checks;
- The detection and resolution of any malfunctions and deviations;
- Cleaning machines in accordance with applicable hygiene and safety regulations;
- Monitoring product traceability;
- Contribute to a safe, efficient and hygienic working environment;
- Working together with colleagues to ensure that the production process runs smoothly.
What are you bringing?
- A completed technical secondary school diploma, preferably VAPRO;
- Experience as an Operator or in a similar technical position;
- Experience in the food industry is a plus;
- Technical insight and a practical, solution-oriented attitude;
- You can work well both independently and as part of a team.;
- You live in the Netherlands.;
- You have a good command of the English language; Dutch is a plus;
- Basic knowledge of food safety or the willingness to learn it;
- You work precisely and have an eye for quality, safety and hygiene.
What do we offer?
- A challenging position within an international and dynamic production environment;
- A gross monthly salary between €3,100 and €3,500 (based on full-time work and experience);
- A fixed-term contract of 12 months;
- 25 days' holiday per year based on full-time employment;
- A good pension scheme to which Klaas Puul contributes 60%;
- Travel expenses allowance of € 0.21 per km from 10 km one way;
