For the Volendam location, we are looking for an enthusiastic;
Supply Chain Coordinator Import (40 hours per week)
What are you going to do
As Supply Chain Coordinator Import, you will be responsible for the smooth running of the entire import process for tropical prawns. From the moment a purchase order is placed until arrival at our warehouse, you will monitor and coordinate all logistical, administrative, and documentary processes.
You maintain daily contact with international suppliers, logistics partners, customs agents, and internal departments to ensure that deliveries are carried out on time, in full, and in accordance with applicable quality, customs, and food safety requirements.
With your proactive approach, you identify deviations early, resolve bottlenecks, and contribute to a reliable flow of goods and continuous improvement of our supply chain.
Your duties will include:
· Monitoring of the entire import process from order confirmation to receipt of goods;
· Creating, managing, and tracking orders in SAP;
· Checking, collecting and managing import documentation, certificates and other required documents;
· Monitoring of shipping schedules and container arrival dates;
· Maintaining daily contact with suppliers, shipping companies, customs agents and internal stakeholders;
• Identifying and following up on delays, deviations, and risks within the supply chain;
· Coordinate with Supply Chain, Warehouse, and Quality regarding incoming deliveries;
· Support internal and external audits and ensure complete documentation;
· Setting up and managing supplier ratings;
· Handling of quality and financial claims towards suppliers;
· Monitoring compliance with food safety, quality, and import requirements;
Initiate and support improvements within the import and supply chain process.
Who are we looking for?
· HBO (higher professional education) working and thinking level, preferably in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a comparable field;
· Knowledge of import processes, document management, and logistics chains;
· Affinity with international trade, customs processes, and food safety;
Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP;
· Good command of the Dutch and English languages;
Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude;
Accuracy, independence, sense of responsibility and strong analytical skills;
Solution-oriented, strong in collaboration and stakeholder management.
What do we offer?
A challenging role within an international and dynamic supply chain environment;
A gross monthly salary between €3500 and €4800 (based on full-time employment and experience);
A fixed-term contract for 12 months, with the intention of extending it subject to satisfactory performance;
· 25 days' holiday per year based on a full-time contract;
· A good pension scheme to which Klaas Puul 60% contributes;

· Travel expenses of €0.23 per km from 10 km one way;
