For the Volendam location, we are looking for an enthusiastic;
Business Control Manager (40 hours per week)
What are you going to do?
- You manage the Business Control team and the IT team, distribute tasks and guide employees in their development;
- Direct support for the Finance Director;
- You ensure reliable and timely reporting, analyses, budgets and forecasts;
- You analyse financial and operational results, including cost prices, margins and production efficiency;
- You identify deviations and risks and translate these into concrete advice and improvement actions;
- You advise management and directors on the basis of financial and operational insights;
- You coordinate the month-end close, reporting cycles and forecasting;
- You perform complex analyses and business cases, and support commercial issues and pricing;
- You initiate and supervise improvement trajectories in the areas of processes, systems and reporting;
- You safeguard the quality of master data and standards in systems such as SAP;
- You will develop and improve dashboards and reports using tools such as Power BI and Excel;
- You work closely with departments such as production, sales and supply chain, and are a key link between operations, finance and management;
- You are the substantive point of contact for finance-related issues and towards the accountant.
What are you bringing?
- A completed higher professional education (HBO) or university (WO) degree in Finance, Business Economics, Accountancy or a similar field;
- Several years’ relevant experience in Business Control or Finance, preferably in a managerial role;
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate figures into clear insights and recommendations;
- Good knowledge of budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting;
- Strong communication skills and a natural ability to collaborate with different departments;
- A proactive and results-oriented attitude, with an eye for improvement and development;
- Experience with Excel and Power BI; knowledge of SAP is an advantage.
What do we offer?

- A gross monthly salary of between €6,000 and €8,500 (based on full-time employment and experience);
- A fixed-term contract for 12 months, with the intention to extend it upon satisfactory performance;
- 25 days' holiday per year based on full-time employment;
