What are you going to do?
As an intern Specialist Nutrition & Information at Klaas Puul, you will have a varied and educational role in which you actively contribute to quality, food safety and communication within the organisation.
Your responsibilities align with the field and include, among other things:
- Monitoring and controlling the quality of products.
- Assisting in compliance with food safety guidelines (HACCP).
- Managing internal and external information exchange on products and processes.
- To inform and advise colleagues or customers on nutrition and product usage.
- Participating in projects such as research, information/education campaigns or improvement initiatives.
- Identifying areas for improvement and contributing to process optimisation.
This develops both subject-specific knowledge and professional skills within the food sector.
What does your day look like?
You start the day with a short briefing where the plans and points of attention are discussed. After that, you get to work with various tasks on the workshop floor and in the office.
A working day can consist of:
- Carrying out a quality check in production.
- Consult with colleagues from different departments.
- Checking documentation relating to food safety and quality.
- Participate in research or information activities.
- Reporting findings and discussing them with your supervisor.
Because you work with different tasks and departments, no two days are the same.
